This weekend and next at Movement are filled with great things to do!
This Friday, we have our Movement Lab that will explore movement techniques with Emily Seymour returning to teach!
On Friday and Saturday we have two AcroYoga Workshops taught by Yuki T. that will each explore the Yin and Yang aspects of Acro yoga.
And on Saturday we also have our Outdoor Ride that ends at UPSLOPE Brewery for beer tastings and a BBQ!
And don’t forget that next weekend is the SCS Youth Divisional Championship!

Movement Lab–NRG Yoga
This First Friday Lab is for anyone who wishes to enhance their movement vocabulary. We will connect with the
five elements through Yoga, Dance and Martial Arts practices. Breath expansion, meditation, and kinesthetic sense awareness all support the mind-body experience.

Yin and Yang
Explore both yin and yang aspects of AcroYoga practice. The Yin of AcroYoga is therapeutic practice with Thai massage. The Yang of AcroYoga is dynamic acrobatic practice. Yin and Yang can not be separated; they complement each other to create a whole.

SCS Youth Divisional Championships
June 11th and 12th
WE NEED VOLUNTEERS! We need your help to make this event happen! We need help with things like belaying, judging, isolation, and much more! If you’re able to help, please email or call to get signed up. 303.443.1505
Our division’s best will compete over the course of two days with the hopes of earning an invitation to The National Championships in July! Over 150 kids will compete so some support the next generation of climbers by volunteering or just coming to cheer them on!
What does this mean to Movement members and guests?
The gym will be closed on Saturday, June 11th, and Sunday, June 12th, in order to make this event as successful as possible. All normal classes and schedules will resume on Monday, June 13th.
As for climbing terrain:
– the left-side of the grey wall will close on Wednesday morning, for the duration of the event
– the right-side of the grey wall will close on Thursday morning, for the duration of the event
– the speed wall will close on Friday morning, for the duration of the event
