Kris Peters and Justen Sjong are the Team of 2, and their climbing fitness trainings are supreme!

This 5-week offering is for rope climbing and power endurance. It requires a climbing ability of V4 and 5.11, and is limited to 14 participants total.

WEDNESDAYS* March 12 – April 16 Time: 9:00am to 12:00pm

*NO CLASS on 3/26 in honor of Spring Break

Movement Lab: Yoga for Stress

Movement Lab: Dark side of the Yoga Moon

On the heels of January’s Movement Lab: Freedom in Presence, Kelly R. carries the torch for the next two cycles with The Dark Side of the Yoga Moon.

This interactive yoga class will include an introduction, a nurturing posture practice, meditation instruction, and a sit. Kelly R. will pose questions for inner contemplation, and deep inquiry.

Focus on Fitness 2014

Movement Climbing + Fitness is excited to host the 5th Annual Focus on Fitness, January 27th – 31, 2014.

Focus on Fitness is a week of fitness awareness, to expand your knowledge about wellness, Movement classes, and personal training. This year, if you purchase 1 or more personal training sessions, you will receive a Movement T-shirt. Please note that this is during the Focus on Fitness week only!

During our two event nights, our personal trainers and instructors will be on hand to answer questions, and Fit Talks will occur in the conference room on the main floor. Additionally, local health experts will be available for samples, mini treatments, and educational conversation in the Movement lounge.

Event nights are free of charge for members, and non-members may participate and receive full access to Movement for just $10 ~ a reduced day pass!

Refresh your body, mind and spirit with flowing yang as well as passive yin posture to cleanse your whole self and begin again.

This special class will also include the talented Rainbow Michael, who will be playing singing bowls and a wooden flute.

Cycling 101

Ever wondered what we’re doing in the cycling studio on a “bike that goes nowhere”?

Orient yourself to group cycling with Cycling 101 – a class designed just for you!

In Cycling 101 you will be taught how to fit the bike to your body, how to use the console, and basic cycling vocabulary. This month’s instructor, Zach H. will also outline our class formats, and take you through a sample ride that will last for approximately two songs. You won’t exactly get a full workout, but you will immediately apply what you learned.
